Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Schofield Family Hub is a privately operated household dashboard. This policy explains how its Google Calendar integration uses information from an account that chooses to authorize it.

Information accessed

With permission from the Google account holder, the application requests read-only access to the Google Calendar list and calendar events. This may include calendar names, event titles, dates, times, and other event details returned by Google Calendar.

How information is used

The application uses calendar information only to display household calendar views and upcoming events within the private dashboard. It does not create, edit, or delete Google Calendar events. Calendar information is not used for advertising.

Storage and access

The Google OAuth authorization token is stored on a self-hosted server operated for the household. Calendar event information is retrieved to generate dashboard views and may be temporarily cached for performance. Anyone granted access to the private dashboard may be able to view the event information shown there. The public informational website does not display private calendar content.

Sharing

Google Calendar information is not intentionally sold or shared with advertisers or unrelated third parties. Requests to the Google Calendar API are processed by Google under its applicable terms. Access to the household dashboard is managed separately from this public informational website.

Revoking access and deletion

The Google account holder can revoke the application's access at any time from Google Account third-party connections. The dashboard operator can also disconnect the integration and remove locally stored authorization credentials. Temporarily cached event information is refreshed or cleared as part of application operation.

Security

The integration requests only read-only Calendar permissions. Authorization credentials should be restricted to the application operator and protected against unauthorized access. No internet-connected service can be guaranteed completely secure.

Contact

Questions about this household application can be directed to the Google OAuth application support contact shown during the authorization process.

This policy describes the current intended use of Google Calendar information. If the integration or its data handling changes, this policy should be updated.
